Drum Circle Indoors

Missed my walk this morning - raining.  I'll try when I get back from class at the Y if we get a break in the rain.  Rain began again last evening just as people were arriving for the drumming circle.  So, we met inside the Yogatorium and it worked just fine.  Even the candle flame instead of a roaring fire - still that feeling of finding Spirit and communing with the Universe as we meditated, burned our spirit arrows and drummed.  Next month's will be scheduled for September 22, the beginning of Autumn. .........The Autumn equinox signals the beginning of Fall. It is the point where there is exactly 12 hours of daylight and 12 hours of darkness at the equator. If you live anywhere else, however, you will see a little bit more or a little bit less than 12 hours of daylight. The daylight hours are dwindling and will continue to do so until we reach the Winter Solstice, the shortest day of the year and the start of winter.......so says a  google search.  FYI, as the daylight hours dwindle, so does chlorophyll production--so the other colors begin to become unmasked in tree leaves.    Enough lesson for today.
