Listen to Your Life

A partial quote from Frederick Buechner (Beekner) friend John sent.  Comes from Ariana Huffington's "Thrive."  Listen to your life.  See it for the fathomless mystery that it is.  In the boredom and pain of it, no less than in the excitement and gladness: touch, taste, smell your way to the holy and hidden part of it, because in the last analysis, all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace.   WOW!  Listen.   How rare are the times when I manage to do that.  Even here in this paradise of quiet where listening is so easy.  Where noise is at a minimum and all sounds are from God.  At this moment a mourning dove is calling.  An entire day is ahead of me with no demands.  What a blessing it is to be ….. to just be.  To be still and listen.  To my life.  …..all moments are key moments, and life itself is grace…….
