Goodness! Where do the days go? This morning I have a delightful read for you from Frederick Buechner's "Wishful Thinking". Faith is better understood as a verb than as a noun, as a process than as a possession. It is on-again-off-again rather than once-and-for-all. Faith is not being sure where you're going, but going anyway. A journey without maps. Tillich said that doubt isn't the opposite of faith; it is an element of faith…..Amy introduced us to this man's writing Sunday at our "Finding Spirit Here Now" meeting. It is absolutely delightful! If you haven't sampled it, please do! I love that "faith is not being sure where you're going, but going anyway." That's me.
