Sunday - Last Yoga Day Today

This morning yoga from 9:30 to 12:00 and the retreat ends. However, I will have a couple of private lessons with Surya before leaving for home. It is clear to me I need to go on more yoga retreats. They are personally enriching and teacher inspiring. I will be looking for more and more frequently attending them. Yesterday, I hung suspended in a belt around my butt, my feet and legs up the wall, my torso and head hanging down. An amazing freeing feeling, but I also remember feeling like my eyeballs were filling with fluid! Maybe that's the pollen/sinus reaction? (For you farm folks, the wintertime hanging up of a killed pig also came to mind.) Anyhow, in addition to the hung down pose, shoulder stands in two chairs, back bends (with two helpers), and so on. All in all, a very renewing experience. The photo of tanks are water-holding. Must hold several hundred gallons of snow and rainwater runoff. The friends are eating Surya's birthday cake gleefully after vegetarian purity! We also had coconut milk and pumpkin custard (both home made by Surya) in addition to the tofu, salad greens, etc. The other photo is of the rock fountain spilling into the pool. Time for breakfast.
